POSTPONED: Who’s in the Zoom? Crip Practice & Belonging: Wishes for an Inclusive Recovery

March 29, 2021 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm

Image Description: This is a photograph taken from an aerial view perspective. On a hard floor, a group of people of varying age & ethnicity are lying on their fronts on top of some comfy looking yoga mats and cushions. They seems to be chatting and laughing with each other comfortably. Some are lying on their backs, some are sat upright, but all look like they have chosen their comfy positions.

POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

We have had to postponed today’s event until further notice. Please see a wee update below from Raquel herself:

“Hi, this is Raquel. I have chronic pain and am experiencing a very bad flare up today, which means I won’t be able to deliver the webinar this afternoon.
These flare ups don’t happen very often anymore (thank goodness), but when they do I have little choice but to rest completely and disconnect from anything remotely demanding.
Apologies and I look forward to connecting with you in a few time when we reschedule the webinar.
Best wishes, Raquel”

Crip Practice & Belonging: Wishes for an Inclusive Recovery by Raquel Meseguer Zafe

In this webinar, Raquel will share her recent research Crip Tech & Belonging which explored how we go beyond standard access to create a sense of belonging in our public spaces.

Raquel will also share her efforts to create a Resting Spaces Network, her wishes for an inclusive recovery in the arts, and consider how we might convene conversations with local art organisations & venues to move towards more equitable spaces.
